Coffee with the Principal

On the Tuesdays listed below, Ontario High School Principal Eduardo Zaldivar meets with parents in the library to discuss the school’s progress in providing a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment for their children that will result in a clear college and career ready path towards graduation. This dialogue (in Spanish and English) empowers parents to get involved in the school’s learning community by volunteering their time, attending school events, and becoming active members of ELAC, DELAC, School Site Council, and booster clubs. In addition, he provides them with strategies to increase their involvement with the decision-making process at the school and district level. Furthermore, he encourages them use the Parent-Student Impact Center as a resource to connect them to the school community by taking part in the classes, meetings, workshops, and trainings that are offered through the Office of Student Achievement.
