Final Exam Schedule
Ontario High School
Dear parents and students,
We are fast approaching the end of the first semester and the close of 2013. It is hard to believe it is time for our semester finals. This year, we have multiple opportunities to help our students prepare for their upcoming final exams.
We are offering:
It is not too late for students to finish strong and increase their achievement.
Our final exams will be given as follows:
Please note that there is no school on Friday, Dec. 20.
When school resumes on Monday, January 6, 2014, we will begin our second semester of the school year. On that morning, we encourage students to arrive early. They will check a locator list to identify their first period class. When they report to their first period class, they will receive their new second semester schedule. As we move into second semester please consider the following:
Ontario High School has experienced tremendous success by setting high standards and providing on-going support for every student. Individual student achievement is our goal! We celebrate our students’ academic achievements and we take pride in the fact that each year several of our students are accepted into some of the most prestigious college and universities in the nation.

After School Programs
Research indicates that an effective before and after school program has a direct impact on student achievement. For this reason, Chaffey, Montclair, and Ontario High Schools have applied for an After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) grant that will provide much needed funding to establish community learning centers that provide students in grades 9-12 with academic opportunities and activities designed to complement the students' regular academic program, assist students in passing the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE), assist with literacy and related educational development services for families of these students, and provide a safe environment for students participating in their programs.
At the end of the 2013-14 school year, Ontario High School will have improved student achievement by addressing individual student needs and improving classroom instruction.
